Technical Webinar Management and VILT

Honeywell Fire / Fire•Lite, Silent Knight, and System Sensor Brands

Webinar Production and Moderation  |  Employee Engagement, 2018 to 2020

I managed the production and live delivery of technical webinars for the Honeywell Fire Distribution brands during the final years of my tenure there. Each session involved working with product managers to develop the content outline, building the presentation deck, coordinating rehearsals, and hosting the live event including Q&A moderation. The audience was primarily installing dealers, distributors, and specifiers who needed technical depth on new products, code changes, and system integration.

Technical education in the dealer channel functions as demand generation. A dealer who understands a product well enough to recommend it confidently changes the sales conversation. These webinars were designed with that in mind. The goal wasn't just to inform. It was to build product confidence and reduce the friction of adoption across the channel.

All three webinars are publicly accessible via Honeywell's Vidyard platform.

The session introduced dealers and installers across all three Honeywell Fire Distribution brands to the updated SWIFT portfolio, covering what SWIFT is and how it works, the product offering by brand, system specifications, target applications, a real-world installation success story, and supporting documentation and resources. The SWIFT portfolio was managed by a single product manager across all three brands, making this a unified technical session delivered to three distinct dealer audiences simultaneously.

L-Series Low Frequency Introduction and Full Line Overview
System Sensor brand | April 2020

A product launch webinar introducing the L-Series low frequency audible-visible notification line to the System Sensor dealer and distributor channel. The session covered the full product offering and launch timeline, the benefits of the L-Series portfolio, key enhancements over the previous generation, a low frequency overview explaining the 520 Hz requirement under NFPA 72 for sleeping areas, and the wireless AV capability through SWIFT. Low frequency notification represents a meaningful compliance and specification shift for the installing contractor audience, and the session was designed to give dealers the technical confidence to specify and sell the new line.
